Meet GabiFresh

Blogger and writer GabiFresh already had thousands of fans thanks to her style blog, but she became an internet sensation after her post titled “Fatkini 2012” went viral. The post had pictures of her rocking a bikini on a Vegas vacation along with this message to her readers: As always, I truly encourage you guys to get to the beach (or a pool) this summer—don’t let body shame keep you from having a good time! The overwhelmingly positive feedback landed her on the Today show and in the pages of Glamour and InStyle. So it was only natural that she would be the perfect collaborator for a swimwear line for swimsuitsforall. Her vision for what makes a great swimsuit is both fashionable and functional. “I love neon colors, little cutouts and cool details,” she says. “But it also has to have good bust support and hug my curves in a comfortable way.” Her fans agree—both her 2013 and 2014 collections sold out within hours.

  1. I have been fighting with my weight for over a half a century. It took that long to realise “I am who I am and that’s all that I am” (popyee the sailor man) Deal with it or go away. I love my new attitude. Wish I had done it long ago.
You are young and rocking your curves. You have it all figured out. Thank you for being you. ( I just purchased my first bikini at the age of 55. I will rock it on the cruise because of you!)

  2. I’ma curvy girl. Not ashamed of my body, I love me. I strive to look for feminine clothes that make me look good. Unfortunately clothing designers believe all fatties, curvies, and chunky dunks should be encased in black, or pink or some combination thereof. I think it’s ridiculous to wear black for swimwear. I’m going swimming, sunning and flirting not going to a funeral! Today’s designers need to back off a little on the pure black and pure white clothing lines and get involved with mixing up some other amazing colors!

  3. I admire your pose and your beauty in that bikini is breath taken. Keep the wonderful shape please do not alter it.

  4. I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you. I am a plus size woman and I appreciate seeing you sport those swimsuits. You look fabulous! I had never thought about wearing a two piece and until I seen you. I hadn’t always been plus size. But, watching you. I think I just got my sexy back. Thank you for allowing people to see beauty comes in all sizes.

  5. I think you look wonderful in your bikini. Women with curves should feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful in their own skin. All you really need to wear a bikini is a lovely smile – and that you have.
