With our website freshly renovated, we didn’t want our office to get jealous. So we made it our mission to turn a (let’s be honest) drab corporate workspace into a friendly, functional and soothing environment that reminds everyone who comes through the door of being by the sea.
We wanted the site and our home base to feel cohesive, in the same soothing palette. Naturally, we’re obsessed with the color blue. Our first order of business was ordering a cool, modern blue couch from CB2 we’d all want to spend time on. We also put down blue carpeting and retiled the bathrooms and kitchen with a deep azure floor.
Then, we repainted the walls a crisp, bright white so our blue logo would really stand out, hung inspiration boards on the walls, and installed a high definition TV so that, mid-brainstorm, we can pull our favorite images from swimsuitsforall.com and our Pinterest boards. Almost four months later, we were finally living it up in our cheery, like-new headquarters.
As with all makeovers, it took awhile to find our new groove. Every staffer moved his or her desk more than a few times until everyone was in the spot that felt the most like home and could be most productive. Our President and CEO even moved into the conference room so he could be part of every meeting in some way—exactly what we mean by diving in headfirst.
That’s the thing: we live for swimsuitsforall and wanted to work in an environment that’s like the website coming alive. It’s a 360-degree experience for those of us that live and breathe swimwear, and the best part is this: feeling so at ease in our new digs ultimately helps us help you better. See for yourself!
